Christian Ackers (Flip the Script), presents books which analyze graffiti handstyles in a formal typographic construct. Flip The Script was dubbed an instant classic by writers and designers alike upon its release in 2013.
Following in this tradition, Handselectas Blackbooks are a tribute to the work that goes into developing a strong, consistent handstyle.
Acker designed the book with:
32 gridded pages,
32 lined pages and
64 blank pages
So you have both structured and free-form options for developing your letterforms. Practice makes perfect!
Seb Gorey was born in 1976 in Paris, France. He is currently based in New York City and works as an artist and designer. His work portrays the ingeniosity and versatility of recycling, the end of industrial production and the revenge of nature. Gorey combines disparate elements to form unity in his work. His traditional yet figurative work is influenced by street culture and depicts a post-apocalyptic environment. Seb Gorey wass the designer behind the menswear label Woolf NYC. He also works as a muralist, illustrator and graphic designer.

Handselecta is concerned with being a good steward of our culture, our community and our environment. One way we do that is by producing some of our merch offerings on-demand. This means we are keeping our impact on the environment lower, by not creating excess and unwanted inventory that is likely to become landfill. It also means that it may take slightly longer to reach you than when purchasing from those larger brands that are trying to clear inventory from their warehouses. We use a few vendors, time may be only a few days or a week or more depending upon the vendors, the item and the distance shipped. If you purchase multiple items, they may arrive in multiple packages.
All sales final.
Ships Worldwide. Shipments outside of the USA may incur customs fees depending on the destination country. The fee may vary depending on your order value, country limits, and other factors based on the product itself. You, the customer may be responsible for these fees to the appropriate customs agency.
